Mulberry and Icecream

                One of my favourite SS 2012 collections is Mulberry by Emma Hill. The creative director uses a large palette of neutrals and combines them with browns, yellows, grass green and peppermint green.
               Still, the renowned bags the Alexa and the Bayswater manage to stand out with their various patters.

              As you can see below, the images for the ad campaign were taken at seaside by photographer Tim Walker. The models Frida Gustavsson and Lindsey Nixon, surrounded by gigantic sweets bring delicacy and freshness with their playful looks.

Sugar.Sweet.Pastels

The first word which came into my mind the moment I saw the Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 ad campaign was CANDY . Fashion photographer Steven Meisel captures in a few shots the message of this collection, exactly like Marc Jacobs reported :"we wanted something gentle and kind, fragile but strong, too".
